Unlike Quick Analysis which is designed for rapid insights and immediate feedback, Octoparse VOC's Deep Analysis feature provides a more in-depth analysis of customer reviews and intended for comprehensive, detailed investigations into customer sentiments and trends.
To use the deep analysis feature, you must have the VOC Chrome extension installed first. Once the extension is installed and enabled, there are multiple ways to start a deep analysis for one or multiple Amazon products.
Start a deep analysis
Method 1: Start with the search bar on the Octoparse VOC product homepage.
Enter any keyword, ASIN, or URL (product detail page URL only) to start your search. You will be redirected to the Amazon website to complete your product selection.
Note: It is recommended to log into your own Amazon account before starting a deep analysis.
Select at least one product to start your deep analysis.
Method 2: Click the Reviews Analysis button on an Amazon product listing page
You will be asked to complete your product selection in a pop-up window.
Method 3: Click the Deep Analysis button on any Amazon product detail page
You can browse any Amazon product detail page and click the Deep Analysis button next to the Quick Analysis button.

Method 5: Upload review data files to start a deep analysis
If you have collected reviews with other tools or from other platforms, you can upload the file containing the review data to conduct a deep analysis. Click the Import Reviews button on the homepage and follow the instructions.
Collect and analyze review data
Once you've selected the products to analyze, Octoparse VOC will start to collect all the review data available from Amazon. The data collection process will take a few minutes to complete.
Wait for the data collection complete and click View report to proceed. Once you click View Report, our NLP model will get involved and start analyzing the reviews using AI-powered LLMs.
Deep analysis reports are also more time-consuming due to the breadth and depth of review data processed. Depending on the amount of review data being analyzed, reports can take around 10-30 minutes to complete.
You can check the report status on the homepage.
View Deep Analysis Reports
Once Octoparse VOC finished analyzing your data, you can click a report a report card to view the whole report.
A Deep Analysis report contain two main sections: Review Insights and Customer Reviews.
The review insights tab contains 9 sections including buyer personas, customer profiles, usage scenarios, unmet needs, rating optimization, negative feedback, positive feedback, pre-purchase concerns, and comprehensive suggestions.
The customer review tab lists all the product reviews, so you can doublecheck the analysis with the original voice of customers. You can also download all the review data for later use.
If you have multiple products analyzed, you can also click the Compare button on the top right to conduct a competitive analysis.
